Hadley is Two!!!!

I can't believe Hadley is already two! The past couple years have flown by. For her birthday we celebrated doing things she likes to do. We went to McDonald's for her birthday lunch. Then we had pizza (one of her favorites) for dinner complete with a Baby Beluga (another favorite) cake. Michelle, Jessy, and Lila (more of her favorites) came over for cake and presents. It was a quiet day, but we hope she felt loved. Because she truly is.

About Hadley Right Now
*Hadley is a happy, playful girl. She loves to dance, sing, and read books, especially books about princesses, animals, and her very favorite Baby Beluga book.

*She really loves to play Wii with her sisters and is surprisingly good at following the steps on “Just Dance” It is adorable to see her dancing along.

*She loves to play pretend. I often find her pushing her baby in the stroller with a purse on her arm and her cell phone propped on her shoulder while she is talking and laughing to whoever she is pretending to call.

*She honestly thinks she is the same age as her older sisters, she does everything they do (or at least attempts to). She has even started refusing to sit in her booster chair because she knows her sisters don’t have to. At dinner she wants a big girl cup, not her sippy and she hardly ever spills. She is really good at feeding herself and she hardly makes any messes anymore.

*She likes to play Barbies and Polly Pocket Princesses with her sisters, but it is hilarious because she will just hold up her doll and say, “Hi!” “Hi!” “Hi!” no matter what anyone else’s doll says back to her.

*She loves to help with chores and I will find her struggling to sweep the kitchen floor with the broom, which is twice as tall as her, or wiping walls and doors with the baby wipes.

*She is a typical two year old, curious and michevious, getting into anything and everything she can get her hands on a leaving a trail of destruction behind her. I feel like half my days are spent cleaning up her messes. But she is so darn cute, it is worth all the effort.

We feel so blessed to have Hadley in our family!!!! We love you Hads!
