Hadley Hoo's Third Birthday
Hadley Grace is three! I can't believe it!
I love this age. It seems like it is when my girls have really come into their own. Her personality comes out more and more each day. She is a sassy, silly little girl.
Hadley has been excited to have her birthday since all her sisters had theirs. So when she realized it was finally happening for her, she was beyond happy. For her birthday breakfast she requested pancakes and bacon (two of her favorite foods).

When I asked her what kind of birthday cake she wanted she told me, "Alvin and Simon and The-dore and Bittany and Eleanor and Jeanette". She loves those chipmunks!
Because she is too young to have an official birthday party we had a family party. I assigned Paige to be in charge of the games and she really took the job seriously. She came up with toss the chipmunks in the basket and pin the tail on Alvin. We invited Lori, Great-Grandpa and Grandma Regas, and Grandma and Grandpa Orme over for dinner and cake. We ate, watched Hadley open her presents then everyone played the games Paige had prepared, even the great-grandparents. It was a lot of fun.

Random Facts About Hadley
*Hadley loves to sing and dance. She spends at least a third of her day singing and dancing around the house. She especially loves to stand in front of our mirror closet doors and watch herself while she performs. I have not been able to capture much of it on film though because as much as she loves to sing and dance, if she sees someone watching her, she will immediately stop. I guess the only audience she likes is herself.
*She is a typical three year old: sweet and sour. She can be so loving and sweet. Throughout the day she will run up to me, give me hugs, and say, "I wuv you mom!" And then there is the sour side which is mostly aimed at her sisters. She can hold her own and she does not take any grief from them. If they are being unfair, she gets very upset very quickly.
*She is her sisters' shadow and wants to do everything they do. She adamantly participates in chores, homework, and any game they are playing. She LOVES them and wants to be wherever they are.
*She is very animated and makes super cute expressions when she is talking. If she thinks you are not listening to her she will grab the sides of your face, pull you very close to her, and proceed to finish telling you the story.
*She is learning to write her name. So far she can write the H,D,L,and E. The A and the Y are kind of tricky for her.
*She always wants to pick the song for Family Home Evening and she picks, "Jesus Wants me for a Sunbeam" Every.Single.Time.
*She loves her "Punzel" and "Awiel" dollies and totes them all around the house with her.
We love Hadley Grace. She is so sweet, silly, and smart. We are SO happy she is the youngest beauty in our family.
