Birthday Bashes
Better late than never. I have finally had some time to download pictures from October. This slideshow is of Avery's & Paige's Birthdays. Since they are only three days apart, we had quite a full week! We have learned from experience to save your money when it comes to one year old's birthdays. Avery had a very low key birthday with just chocolate cupcakes and no frills. She didn't mind at all! She loved her cupcake and we were happy to not have to deal with birthday drama for her. We thought about just getting her some wrapping paper and empty boxes since that was all the other two girls have cared about when they turned one, but we never got around to it. I am sure we will hear all about it when she's older, but for now she was content as can be. We still can't believe she is already one. This year has flown by and we are sad to see the baby stage end; however we are super excited for this fun age of "nearly toddlerhood" too.
Paige turned five this year! We can hardly believe how quickly she is turning into a young lady. She also had a pretty low key birthday because we couldn't seem to coordinate friends' schedules to plan an actual party, so we spent her birthday as a family. She had a Minnie Mouse birthday cake and decided that she wanted to get her ears pierced as her present from us. (She was very brave). All in all, the two birthdays could not have gone any better.
