Paige's Birthday Party
We always knew we would be busy having two October birthdays only three days apart and boy were we right! Last week was craziness for our family - Not only did we have two birthdays, we also had a school Halloween Carnival, and a Super Saturday Enrichment activity that I was in charge of. :) It was a hectic, crazy, stressful, fun-filled week and we all survived (with smiles on our faces).
The crazy week began on Tuesday when we held Paige's birthday party at the local bowling alley. Her birthday was not until Sunday, but because of the over-scheduled week, Tuesday was the only day open for her party. She got to celebrate turning six five days before the actual event. She invited five of her good friends. I am not so sure bowling was the best idea for five/six year olds. They had a blast the first five frames, then began to quickly lose interest as the game went on. It was all we could do to get them to finish their 10 frames. They were more interested in eating their cupcakes. :) All in all it turned out really well and all the girls seemed happy as they went away with their little bags full of goodies.
