KK's Pump

In early September Kennedy's insulin pump arrived. I cannot tell you how nice it has been to have that sucker! :) Instead of insulin shots every time she eats, we now only have to change her pump injection site every three days! Then, when she eats we have a handy little remote where we dial the insulin amounts and hit go. It has made blood sugar management so much easier than before. KK named her pump Wally and for the most part she likes it. She does get a little nervous when it's time to change sites though because the needle that injects the catheter is HUGE. She is a trooper though, and we are all in love with Wally!
