Our Last Trip to D-Land

Our family took our final trip to Disneyland on Tuesday of last week. We are VERY sad for this fun time to end. We have had so much fun going to Disneyland so many times. We decided to bring Hadley along for our adventure this time, since we were going for the last time. (She did not have an annual pass). It was kind of cool (for California) so it was the PERFECT day to go. There were hardly any people and we pretty much walked onto every ride. It was great.
Here are the girls and Grandpa Orme on the tram.
Waiting for Autopia (which broke down while we were in line)
Let me just say that going to Disneyland when you are pregnant is NOT very fun! This is my second time going while preggers. (Now and when I was pregnant with Avery). Basically you can only go on the baby rides. It actually turned out quite well this time though because Hadley was too little for any of the big rides anyway, she and I stayed behind and went on a lot of little rides while everyone else went on the big rides all over the park. Here are some of our adventures.
King Arthur's Carousel
Casey Junior Train (pretty lame)
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride (Kind of creepy - you end up in hell at the end)
Winnie the Pooh (We went on this twice - good times!)
Rocket Ships
Buzz Light Year's Space Blasters
We also went on Dumbo, the Teacups, and Alice in Wonderland. While we were out and about, Hadley had the chance to meet many princesses!
Jasmine!
Tiana!
Belle!

Cinderella, Her Fairy Godmother, & the Mice!
And her VERY favorite, ARIEL!
While they were away, Tobey was in charge of taking pictures with his phone and these are the only two he took. (Classic Tobey faces on the rides)
California Screamin'
Tower of Terror (My favorite)
We had a good time on It's a Small World

And Meeting Characters

Hadley went on her first roller coaster ride EVER and LOVED it! (She's in the first car with Tobey)

We explored Minnie's House. This is the first time we've ever really been able to see it since it is usually so packed full of people.

And we ended the day by watching the parade. This is the first time all year we've stayed to see it. It was a lot of fun and the girls LOVED it, even though it was pretty chilly by that time.

It was a good day. Nobody whined, nobody fought, there were no major meltdowns. I would say that is a major success! We ended the day with our tradition of eating at Carl's Junior. It was a great way to finish off our year long Disneyland adventure.
Thank you so much Grandma & Grandpa Orme and Grandma Khaki for the tickets! We sure got our use out of them!

First off - congrats on your pregnancy! Somehow I missed that tidbit before. Secondly - two out of the last three times I've been have been when I'm prego. I still did most things, but am not huge on the big roller coasters anyway. I still have a thing for those "Alice in Wonderland" type rides. Must have something to do with my childhood... So glad you all got the year to go! Great way to go out with a bang and a perfect time of year to do it!
