Happy Spring!!!

This year we decided to try a new tradition. We are getting tired of the commercialism of the sacred holidays and we decided that it is time we teach our children the true meaning of Easter, not distracting them with all the Easter Bunny hoopla. However we don't want them to miss out on those fun traditions when they are children as well. So we decided that we would politely ask the Easter Bunny to come to our house on the first day of Spring to help us celebrate new life, springtime, etc. He gladly complied and we had a great time on Spring morning finding our eggs, looking through our baskets and celebrating with each other. The girls definitely had major bed head in the morning when they woke up, but we think they were super cute anyway. The Easter Bunny gave them silly string which Tobey happily started a war with first thing. We were all covered (so was our house). It was a great way to bring in the new season! :)
