Volleyball 2013
One of the best things about moving to Utah is that we now have extra money for the girls to be involved in extracurricular activities again. Paige and Kennedy decided that they wanted to try their hand at volleyball. Tobey played volleyball in high school, so he was super excited to sign up as a parent coach. He was assigned to be the coach of Paige's team. They had a great season, their team won almost every game! It was fun to see Paige learning how to play. :)
Kennedy also signed up to play and was put on the team of one of her friends from school whose mom was the coach. She did an awesome job. She was very aggressive and went right out and hit the volleyball without shying away. It is purely coincidence that both girls were on purple teams. :)
The rest of our family had fun traveling back and forth from Provo to Payson every week to watch their games. Hadley and Avery played in the gym with friends they met while Beckham and I watched from the stands. It was fun to be a "volleyball" mom.
We sure are proud of how well both girls (and Tobey) did with their first volleyball season. I am looking forward to many more season of volleyball in the future.
