December in Review - Daddy Daughter Dates

Tobey has been amazing at making sure to take each of the girls on daddy-daughter dates. The first one he embarked on this month was to meet Paige at school and have lunch with her. Paige was SO excited. She talked about it for days! They planned which day he would come, what they would eat, and what they would do with her and her friends at recess. On the big day, they had a good time eating lunch (pancakes & sausage), and playing at recess together. I made Tobey take the camera along so he could document their date. They had such a good time they have decided to do it again soon. :)

The next daddy daughter date was with Kennedy Kate. Tobey let her pick the activity and she said she wanted to play laser tag. (Sidenote: A couple of weeks ago Kennedy was invited to a little boy's birthday party where they played laser tag. She loved it! She talks about how "awesome" it was all the time). I forgot to send the camera with them on this little outing, but they both had a great time playing laser tag then going out for ice cream.

Since the month got busy with the holidays, he hasn't had a chance to take Avery out for her date yet, but they are both excited about what they will do together. I am so lucky to have such an amazing husband who is willing to take time out of his extremely busy schedule to spend one on one time with the girls. I hope that this is a tradition they all look forward to for the rest of their lives. :)
