Christmas 2009
I thought that since it is halfway through January, I would finally get around to posting about our Christmas. We were lucky enough to celebrate Christmas twice: once with my mom & Dave in early December, then again with my dad on Christmas. We had a lot of fun with my mom & Dave while they were here. Thresa came up from Utah so the only sibling missing was Kyle. We rode go-karts, played a lot of Farkle, made almond roca, and laughed a lot. I am truly blessed not only to have amazing parents, but also to have an amazing step father as well. We are truly blessed to have him in our lives. The girls had so much fun with everyone and were truly spoiled rotten with all the gifts they received. Thank you so much everyone for making this Christmas so wonderful.

On Christmas day we were fortunate enough to have my dad and Thresa here. Michelle & Jessy came over early Christmas morning too so we were all able to be together and watch the girls find their presents from Santa. They were so excited to find that Santa had gotten them the Wii they asked for. When we were finished watching them, we opened presents, had puff pancakes, and spent the day hanging out, doing puzzles, playing the Wii, and just enjoying each other's company. We had ham and cheesy potatoes and enjoyed a nice quiet day togehter. The highlight of the day was when we all talked to Kyle when he called my dad. It was really great to hear how he was doing and to feel of his spirit. We all sang a song together and said a prayer. The spirit was so strong. I love my family and am so thankful for our Savior Jesus Christ who atoned for our sins so that we are able to be together forever. I am so grateful for this holiday we have to remember his birth and his life. What a wonderful blessing!
